#75 Alone to Myself

“Alone to Myself”

Walking away from the pavements,
Looking on cracks as I seize movement,
You are no longer in my heart
Nor you even deserve any part.
Just go away and leave me alone;
Depart from me and my forlorn.
Just go away and leave me alone;
Staying makes my despair prolong.

Don’t know why I got so attached.
Now you can see it’s all a mismatch.
Troubles come creeping endlessly
With the Pandora’s Box lingering.
Just leave me all alone to myself;
You don’t understand how I feel.
Just leave me all alone to myself;
‘Cause you don’t know what’s the big deal.

#60 The Last Straw

“The Last Straw”

This is the last time I plan to see you,
For you’ve made my life sorrowed and bruised.
It never helps me in any way;
I care about the outcome of my days.

For my desolate life’s past few years,
I failed in conquering my fears.
Never got better than long before,
‘Cause I’m stuck with you to be bored.

We’ve become even as time passes
While sometimes trying to break glasses.
Desp’rate times call for drastic measures;
Slowly fading are those grand treasures.

You are never even productive;
You’re simply sneaky and deceptive.
Behind the scenes, all that you care
Is that you’ll slide, and I’ll be fair.

Just had enough of your plastic face
That always had that negative trace.
Go away, so my life I can control;
This is the end, the very last straw.

#41 Long Waits, Short Temper

“Long Waits, Short Temper”

I don’t really see
The reason for a waiting spree.
Time is quickly running out.
The only thing I can show is a pout.

Why didn’t you prepare in advance,
So that we can go in an instant?
You’re wasting all the time.
Not just yours but also mine.

If only you’d move faster,
Then this would’ve been done sooner,
But no, you had to ruin it.
You just doused my spirit.

Tick tock tick tock, where are you?
You make me think if our meeting’s true.
If you don’t show up soon,
I’ll leave you standing under the moon.

And so, the day ends in a snap.
IIRC, I had five long naps.
You have wasted an entire day,
So my anger shall slowly fade away.

#37 Tongue Tied; Mouth Twisted

“Tongue Tied; Mouth Twisted”

I’m just sitting on the corner
When you came to bother.
“What do you want?” I asked.
Then you blurted out words so fast.

For no reason you became angry.
Honestly, your tone’s so zany.
I’m laughing my head off.
I ought to lock you in a loft.

People these days are crazy.
Their thoughts and ideas going hazy.
The whole crowd’s staring at you.
My, my, whatcha going to do?

I didn’t get the chance to speak.
There’s no way I can even compete.
I can only be nonchalant
As I listen to words so flamboyant.

That’s IT! I’ve had enough!
Why, you snotty little fluff!
I’ll stuff you into a cotton ball
To see how you’d roll!

#36 Eyes Opened; Reality Faced

“Eyes Opened; Reality Faced”

Dreams only cloud your mind.
There’s no such thing as tel’portation.
Illusions make you doubt inside
Whether your organs do their functions.

People living in delusions
Don’t know what to expect.
When eyes uncovered from illusions,
All they do is try to reject.

Many try to achieve the impossible
Without knowing that it’s stupid.
Others hope for the plausible
And wish for the arrow of cupid.

The time comes; reality is faced.
They don’t know what to do.
The thing they show is a face dazed
When they realize about the truth.

Sometimes, when one is too ladened,
They plan to escape their strife.
After filled with so much burden,
Only way out is to erase their own life.

#34 Persistent Pest

“Persistent Pest”

Everyday, nonstop
Talk and talk
Till I drop.
I’m gonna toss a chalk–!

Good morning, it’s another day.
Wake up call, there it goes.
Gotta stretch to shake the stress away.
Sigh… I’m going to meet my foe.

You never stop bothering.
You never stop talking.
When will I get a break?
May I PLEASE hit you with a rake?

You remind me of a fly
That can’t stop circling.
I wish that it would die,
So I stood to start catching.

My blood is boiling.
Going to endure you for another day
Is like feeling the effects of dying.
Sheesh, why this everyday…?

This is a ranting poem about a classmate who never fails to pester me. But I’m okay now, and I don’t mean killing that person literally (when you are mad, your thoughts are pushed to extremes)…

#30 Ignored

“Ignored”

Seems like I’m talking to a wall.
Makes me angry and wanna have a brawl.
As loud as I can, I say once again,
But the conversation’s a dead end.
Nothing to do but stare,
And hope your friend can see your glare.
Perhaps he will ask you what’s up.
As a response, I’d sigh and drop.
The baffled look on his face
Is evidence that he is dazed.
Once more, you reiterate.
In your mind, you wish to objurgate,
“Are you a deaf person?!
I really wanna teach you a lesson
On how to open your ears
And listen to words that are so dear.”
However, it can happen.
Your spirit may be dampened.
Just increase your patience,
And a tiny shush to your conscience.
But still….being ignored
IS SO NOT A SMALL SORE!!
