“Trick or Treat?”
One of my first poems.

On the night of October thirty-first,
I was hungry and full of thirst.
Took my basket for carryin’ sweets
And knocked door to door asking for treats.

I hit the doorbell and it went ding-dong!
I fixed my costume–makin’ sure nothin’s wrong.
They give a lot of surgary lollies,
And when I go home, I’m filled with jolly
And that ends my Halloween story.
